ARCOM Doctrine

Doctrine

Astral Rescue Command | Combat Search and Rescue Division
"When the stars call for help, we answer."

1. PURPOSE

Astral Rescue Command (ARCOM) exists to execute rapid-response, high-risk medical extraction operations in hostile environments where traditional medical units cannot operate. Our purpose is singular and absolute:
Rescue the wounded. Stabilize under fire. Return with every life possible.

We are not medics who avoid combat. We are combatants who heal in the fight.

2. CORE PILLARS OF OPERATION

2.1 Speed

ARCOM responds with speed, precision, and minimal delay. Time is life. We deploy fast, insert hard, and exfil before the enemy can regroup.

2.2 Discipline

We operate with uncompromising military discipline. Chain of command is respected in all conditions. Unity and cohesion are non-negotiable.

2.3 Aggression

ARCOM is not a defensive unit. We breach into hot zones. We suppress threats. We create space for life-saving work with overwhelming force.

2.4 Adaptability

From zero-G recoveries to planet-side triage, ARCOM units are trained across all theaters. We improvise. We endure. We complete the mission.

2.5 Sacrifice

We accept the risks others avoid. We fight in the fire so others can escape it. If one must fall for many to survive, we accept that burden.

3. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

3.1 Command Staff

ARCOM is led by combat-experienced veterans, including the Grand Admiral of Rescue and subordinate Admirals of Division, who set strategic priorities and direct large-scale operations.

3.2 Mech Suit Corps

Our heavy-armored operators spearhead recon and zone penetration. Dropped first into hostile zones, they provide data, suppression, and frontline triage.

3.3 Rescue Strike Teams

Each team includes field medics, tactical pilots, and armed operators trained in medevac, overwatch, and high-intensity conflict medicine.

3.4 Support and Logistics

No mission succeeds without precision in supply, communication, and tech. ARCOM’s support personnel are trained to deploy under pressure and adapt on the fly.

4. RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

  1. Mission First – Lives Always:
Primary objective is extraction and survival of friendly assets. We do not engage unless it protects the mission.

  2. Weapons Ready – Medkits Closer:
Every member is armed. Every member is trained. No one flies without both.

  3. No One Left Behind:
Recovery of wounded—and if necessary, fallen—is absolute. Personnel recovery is sacred. Dead or alive, they come home.

  4. Neutral Rescue Priority:
We do not discriminate in who we save. Civilians, allies, even enemies in distress—we answer the call. Rescue is a higher code.

  5. Operational Silence:
Missions are conducted with discretion. We do not disclose extraction zones, wounded identities, or classified ops.

5. THE BLACK TAG LEGACY

We trace our roots to Vega II, 2945, where a rogue unit of UEE medics and Marine pilots defied orders and rescued dozens from behind enemy lines. With no support and dwindling hope, they carried the wounded out—sometimes only with a tag and a name.

They were called the Black Tags.

We honor their sacrifice with action, not words. Every deployment we make, every soul we bring home, carries their legacy forward.

6. FINAL TENET

We do not fail.
If we fall, we fall carrying the mission.
If we rise, it’s with the wounded on our backs.
This is ARCOM.
